Edward Mercado: Born in Venezuela, living in the United States for 14 years. International Organizer, political activist, anti-war organizer. Edward Mercado has been organizing trips to Venezuela since 2004. In August 2005 He was in the steering committee for the US National Preparatory Committee that brought over 700 youths and students to Venezuela to participate in the16th World Festival of Youth & Students. Since then and adsorbing many of the proposals by some delegates, We took the initiative to form a 100% Venezuelan collective to organize tours to Venezuela aiming at reflecting the realities and beauties of the Land of Bolivar. During the year 2006 Edward Mercado worked as the communications Coordinator for the Venezuela Information Office In Washington, DC. Where he worked in building communications bridges between community and alternative media, as well as taking grassroots organizations to Venezuela.

Carlos Gomez:Venezuelan, Poet, local organizer. Carlos resides in Lara State in Venezuela. Has been part of the international solidarity organization " Colectivo Nuestra America", Carlos Gomez is also a member of the Venezuelan Socialist League. He works at the grassroots level and supports the political changes currently taking place in Venezuela. He participated in research work uncovering political assassinations in Venezuela in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. He is also part of a collective that recently published a book on African Roots in Venezuela prior to the Spanish colonization.

Jesus "Chucho" Garcia:Venezuelan, born in Barlovento, Miranda State. One of the founders of the Afro-Venezuelan Network, also founded Fundacion AfroAmerica, which publishes research document on AfroVenezuelan Roots, Chucho is a leader in the struggle against racism and corporate globalization in the Americas, He tours the US often to engage with communities about the threat of the FTAA, militarism, and what people in the U.S. can do to bring economic and social justice to the hemisphere. He hosts USVEN AfroAmerican Delegations.

Ramon Gonzales: Venezuelan, Currently working on a transportation cooperative in Caracas. Ramon Has been driving throughout Venezuela for 7 Years, and knows the country well. He is a responsible and consistent mass transportation driver.

Eva Golinger: US-Venezuelan National. immigration Lawyer in the City of New York. Journalist, writer, and political activist. Currently living in Venezuela. Eva has written best seller books like The Chavez Code, and Bush vs. Chavez. which uncovers the United States intervention in Venezuelan Matters, using U.S. Citizens tax payers. Eva meets and briefs USVEN Delegations in Caracas, often in private meetings.
